Clara Cluck was abandoned in a shopping centre carpark. Horatio Hornblower was left with a vet to be put down. Both were rescued and brought to our farm where they lived out their days in comfort.
Horatio Hornblower was a Silver Pencilled Wyandotte bantam – a long-established breed that originated in the United States in the late 1800s.
Clara Cluck was an ISA Brown – a breed developed by a French company in the late 1970s as a high performance egg laying battery hen.
