Daphne odora is a small evergreen shrub native to China and Japan. It flowers in winter when it is covered in highly fragrant clusters of small, pale pink flowers set against glossy, dark green leaves. It prefers slightly acid, well-drained soils and a partially shady position – ideally with morning sun and afternoon shade. I think of daphne as an old-fashioned favourite; many people tell me they remember daphne plants from their grandmothers’ gardens.
Our daphne plants are sold to garden centres and other plant retailers in Sydney and the southern highlands on a wholesale basis only. For more information please send a message using the contact form.
